Project description:
Design – Build project for the Political Science faculty at Los Andes University
This design-built project consisted in the demolition of the old premises and the construction of new offices and open spaces inside this 20th mid-century building.
Whereas, light weight gypsum partitions were used in the interior, on the exterior, brick and concrete were the predominant architectural features, giving the faculty a more traditional image to the visitors. As of 1990, very little gypsum was seldom used among Bogota’s builders.
