Project description: The new cargo terminal is part of the renewed Eldorado International Airport in the city of Bogota. Its design and construction was carried out in response to the strengthening of the aviation and cargo sector in Colombia. It complies with the strictest international standards of construction such as IBC-NFPA-IATA-ICAO. TC3 is located east of the existing building TC2. TC3 began construction in 2010 and was completed in February 2011. Together with TC1 and TC2, the new International Cargo Terminal was completed with a total area of 73,494 m2 in Terminal buildings and 87,088 m2 in exterior areas. From February 2011 to date Ecotika continues to work with OTCA, our client, and the different cargo handling operators towards improving the Terminal in the short and long term.   Work performed: Technical consulting work Project management and on-site work supervision for OTCA Reception of all cargo facilities to OPAIN (Government Concession) Approval of all tenant landlord work, designs and construction performed by all tenant and cargo operators Technical consulting for the implementation of the cargo operation 7 X 24
