Architectural design of a new cargo terminal at Tocumen International Airport

A challenging schematic design. The site provided had both an irregular geometry and uneven topography. The proposed design included a new cargo facility that could be incorporated to the future development of new cargo areas. With a simple approach, the Y form adopted allowed for easy cargo handling within the exterior parking areas and the warehouses. Mezzanine offices and complimentary retail areas were also provided to complete the cargo project.

The Design meets both IBC and ICAO standards for airport cargo terminals.
